Rip A Gay Off Day !!I expect a lot of Blackpool and the Blackpool pubs and clubs, The new Handbag is super and the Flammingo is out of this world, But one thing that lets the Handbag down is the door charge. I have asked in the pink why this is made, and was told- "it pays for the act or DJ" ok so what about the nights no act or DJ s on ?"oh well we have always done it" , ok but why? "well I don't know" - "it's something we have always done even in the old place" so what do I get for my money when no Dj or act ? " I'm sorry I cant tell you as I just don't know" Is there anyine around who can ? "well I am a manager so no ,Oh you do get to go in Flamingos for a £1 on Thursday,I think ! I would have to check , - but its something we have always done and no one says anything so we carry on "So perhaps some kind person can tell me just what the door charge is for when there is NO act on and no DJ on and Flamingos is closed ? Just where does my money go and who to or what for ? |

| Well we went to blackpool and our freind from newport told us to try the handbag we are both straight but have no problems with gender. absolutley brilliant is all i can really say. we where there from 11.00 am till 5.00pm and it was alive with the best drag with the best sense of humour. YOU HAVE TO TRY IT. We are now making plans to go there again (from swindon) with three more of our freinds hopefully at the end of october. Big thanks to all the staff at the handbag we love you - stefan,paul and suejay xx | |
